Sevatec, Inc. (Sevatec) has been awarded three ‘Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Services’ (HACS) ‘Special Item Numbers’ (SINs). Sevatec, which has headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia, United States, was established in 2003. The company is a “National Security firm specializing in Agile and DevOps, data sciences, cyber engineering, and cloud solutions” and has a mission to “solve the federal government's most pressing business and technical challenges”. Government agencies it has previously provided services for include the Department of Defense, Department of Transportation, and the Department of State.
The three HACS SINs Sevatec received – ‘Incident Response’ (SIN 132-45B), ‘Cyber Hunt’ (SIN 132-45C) and ‘Risk and Vulnerability’ (SIN 132-45D) - enable the company to join an “elite pool of pre-vetted, technically proficient, cybersecurity providers” that cater to US federal agencies. Only the most capable vendors receive HACS SINs and to do so they undergo stringent evaluation by the US government’s General Services Administration (GSA). The company is also well certified, achieving a range of related certification including ISO 9001:2015, ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011, and ISO/IEC 27001:2013. Additionally, it has CMMI Maturity Level 3 ratings for both Development (DEV) and Services (SVC).
