Hillstone Networks) has announced that it has achieved Microsoft Azure Certification and its virtual network security solution – CloudEdge - is now available through the Azure Marketplace. Hillstone Networks, which was formed in 2006, has headquarters in Sunnyvale, California, United States. The company caters to a 12,000-strong global customer base which includes companies in a number of industries including education and finance. By achieving Microsoft Azure Certification and having its products and services available through the Azure Marketplace, Hillstone Networks has extended its accessibility to “enterprises of all sizes in public cloud”.
CloudEdge leverages “Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) technology” to offer robust network security services. It offers a range of features and is particularly beneficial as a means of protecting virtual networks from threats. These include ‘North-South Traffic Inspection’ to provide networks with dedicated security isolation via policy control and secure data transmission via VPN to protect data transmission between VPCs or VPCs. The solution also offers ease of deployment and management. Standard and advanced editions are now available via the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.
An online market for buying and selling Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications and datasets, the Microsoft Azure Marketplace connects companies with cloud-based solutions providers. Solutions offered through the marketplace include “integrated tools, pre-built templates and managed services to make it easier to build and manage enterprise, mobile, web and Internet of Things (IoT) applications faster and more efficiently”.
