RapidSwitch has added servers with Intel Haswell 4th generation CPUs to its suite of offerings. The new Haswell processors improve reliability while offering the benefits of improved server speeds.
RapidSwitch, an iomart Group company and one of the leading server hosting companies in the United Kingdom, is based in Maidenhead in Berkshire. The company introduced 16 Core systems using Intel E5 Generation CPUs as soon as they were first released. It has over 20,000 servers and caters to a broad global customer base including online publishing platform PageTiger and Minecraft gamer hosting company Creeperhost.

Haswell are the fastest single socket processors in the market, offering 52% better performance per watt, and at 13 watts, the lowest-power Xeon ever. They also show significant performance improvements on graphics compared to the last generation chips."
