Shared web host
CleverHost has bought the hosting customers of Ball Media. CleverHost, which has headquarters in London, Ontario, Canada, offers a range of services including free web hosting to charities, domain registration, SSL certificates, and SiteLock provision. The company bills itself as having a reputation for “providing high uptime, highly performing services to its customer base”, a level of service it promises to bring to its new customers.
Cleverhost has acquired web hosting assets from Ball Media, Inc. (Ball Media). Migration of Ball Media’s web hosting customers will be completed “over the next week”. With headquarters in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, alongside web hosting Ball Media’s services extend to web design, video production, creative and print, tradeshow displays and book printing and ebook conversion. The acquisition means that CleverHost can now provide shared hosting to “hundreds of customers across Canada”.
