PeakColo has announced that Sharon Kincl will be the company's new Vice President of Finance and Administration. In conjunction with Luke Norris, PeakColo's Founder and CEO, Ms Kincl will be responsible for managing the company's financial and investor relations.
Ms Kincl received a BS in Accounting from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, USA and brings substantial financial experience to her new position. She was formerly Chief Financial Officer at Fetter Logic, Inc., a company involved in providing consulting services to financial and investment organizations. Other previous positions include Chief Financial Officer at both Persona, Inc. and Intelliquest Information Group, Inc. Prior to joining PeakColo Ms Kincl was Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at software and consulting company Vico Software, Inc., a company involved in 5D virtual construction for the Building Information Management industry.
PeakColo, a Type II SSAE 16 and SOC 2 provider, has data centers in Seattle, Denver, Chicago, New Jersey, New York, and the United Kingdom. The company plans to leverage the growth of the cloud for future expansion. The company will also enter two new markets over the next year. To fund its expansion plans the company has raised equity capital totaling $7.5 million from Denver-based private investment funds manager Meritage Funds, and investment-banking firm Sweetwater Capital.
