Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and ‘Big Data’ analytics platform company
LogPoint has received a $10 million investment. LogPoint, which has headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark, was established in 2001. Its SIEM solution, introduced in 2008, is “the only EAL 3+ certified European Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform with solutions widely deployed in the Nordics, Benelux, Germany, France, and the UK”. The Series B funding was designed to fuel the company’s continual growth and was provided by Zurich-based Evolution Equity Partners.
LogPoint enables companies to monitor networks and detect and respond to cybersecurity threats. It fulfills a range of compliance and regulatory requirements including ISO, UK GPG13 and the European Union GDPR. LogPoint’s funding will allow the company to “enter the next phase of growth” in areas such as advanced analytics and machine learning, and expand into new markets. It will also allow the company to extend its Enterprise SIEM platform.
