SingleHop releases Private Network offering. Secure, and fast inter-server communications of up to 1GB per second.

April 18, 2009 - (HOSTSEARCH.COM) - Chicago-based managed dedicated hosting company, SingleHop, has announced the release of its Private Network offering. The Private Network allows customers to have inter-server and non-public network connectivity at speeds of up to 1Gbps, in a fully secured environment. In addition, the servers can communicate in Jumbo frames, where packets can have sizes of up to 9,000 bytes, increasing transfer speeds significantly. Andy Pace, VP of Operations for SingleHop, mentioned, "with this new private network, clients can backup information, synchronize data amongst their servers, and do it all inside of a secure network with unlimited bandwidth and incredible speed. By using the private network, none of the clients metered bandwidth is used, freeing it up for other purposes."
