December 9, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web host SingleHop, Inc. (www.singlehop.com), has announced that's its major investments in infrastructure have pushed network capacity to a staggering 400 gigabits per second. SingleHop's network has nearly doubled in the past six months and is on track to double again by the end of the first quarter of 2009. SingleHop is the fastest organically growing network in the Midwest. "We constantly put our resources back into our network; this growth is the result of two straight years of building an incredibly robust infrastructure. Few hosting companies have made this kind of investment, especially in today's challenging financial environment," says Zak Boca, President and CEO of SingleHop.

"We built this network on some of the most reliable, power efficient equipment available, including products from Foundry Networks, Cisco Systems and Juniper Networks. Each appliance plays a very important role in the groundwork of our network whether it is switching, routing, or even load balancing. We believe that investing in such powerful equipment is beneficial to not only customer connectivity, but also long-term scalability. These big names help provide the rapidly growing yet extremely stable network infrastructure that our customers have grown to admire," said Andy Pace, Vice President of Operations for SingleHop

"We feel that part of our growth is the result of as much a commitment to customers as technology. Everything that we develop and push out into the marketplace is designed to make conducting business online as simple and rewarding an experience as possible. Our LEAP webtop, dedicated account executives, flexible management options, and auto provisioning are all examples of why we've been able to grow so quickly in an organic manner," says Dan Ushman, Vice President of SingleHop.
