SKYWAY DataCenter GmbH (
SKYWAY DataCenter) has announced it will launch a new data center location in 2017. The company, which has headquarters in Sankt Ingbert, Germany, was established in 2010. It is a subsidiary of Key-Systems GmbH – an international IT company which currently manages more than 4 million domains for more than 100,000 customers.
SKYWAY DataCenter offers a wide range of IT infrastructure services that target business users. The new data center will be its second location and completed in the first quarter of the year. Situated in in Kaiserlautern, a German city in the south west of the country, the center will be TIER 3 certified like the company’s Sankt Ingbert facility. Both sites will benefit from direct connection and the new center will offer SKYWAY DataCenter’s “entire product portfolio” including colocation, cloud hosting, root/managed servers and customized IT solutions.
“The steadily growing demand for fail-safety and geographically separated data center locations necessitated the expansion of our capacities at the second location”, explained SKYWAY DataCenter’s CEO, Roman Schließmeyer. “The development also extends the area of influence of our infrastructure products towards Northeast and thus across the borders to Rhineland-Palatinate (Germany).”
