Demisto Enterprise (Demisto) has announced integration with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Demisto, which has headquarters in Cupertino, California, United States, was established in 2015 and has offices in Silicon Valley and Tel Aviv, Israel. The company offers a range of computer security products and services including “the first and only comprehensive Security Operations Platform to combine security orchestration, incident management, machine learning from analyst activities, and interactive investigation”. Integration with AWS enables its customers to automate tasks across AWS services.
Demisto’s solution is a response to the security challenges prompted by increased cloud usage. High volumes of security alerts mean that cybersecurity teams addressing security incidents are unable to leverage traditional security tools that require a number of consoles. Demisto offers a unified solution that allows customers to “automate response and operational tasks across AWS services such as S3, EC3, IAM, GuardDuty, and Route 53”. Demisto integrates with “more than 180 security products” and it is the first SOAR platform to integrate with AWS. The solution offers a single console that allows users to securely manage workflows “across their cloud and on-premise infrastructure”. To simplify security management the solution leverages identity and access management (IAM) roles that can be utilized across AWS products.
