Software and Managed Network Services Provider SWK Announces Implementation of Application Hosting Services
February 21, 2019
Software and managed network services provider SWK Technologies, Inc. (SWK) has announced the implementation of application hosting services. SWK, which has headquarters in East Hanover, New Jersey, United States, was established in 1987. The company helps its customer focus on core competencies by looking at their entire systems to establish opportunities for improvement. It specializes in ERP, EDI and WMS software solutions and also provides customized software options. SWK’s Business Application Cloud Hosting (BACH) application hosting “leverages secure cloud connections to maintain client systems through off-site servers”.
The full implementation of BACH was aided by SWK’s acquisition of New York-based Systems Management, Inc. (ISM) in June of last year, and it is now fully available to SWK's customers. BACH “represents the most secure and cost-effective way for SWK's clients to host their business applications in the cloud”. The service facilitates migration from on-premise IT to cloud solutions and provides a “proven, dependable and well-defended network” which guarantees optimized application performance. It offers hosting for “several business management solutions and network resources” including Sage 100cloud, Sage 500, Sage Enterprise Management, Acumatica, and NetSuite.
“BACH represents the most secure and cost-effective way for SWK's clients to host their business applications in the cloud,” explained Antonio Carrion in an SWK press release. “Cloud application hosting enables businesses to mitigate the amount of resources must be devoted to digital maintenance and lower the total cost of ownership (TCO) of their IT infrastructure.”
