Sima Solutions LLC (Sima Solutions) has announced the launch of SimaCLOUD - an integrated IBM Cloud Hosting WebSphere Commerce platform. Sima Solutions, which has headquarters in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, United States, designs, builds and deploys enterprise-class solutions for organizations of a range of sizes. The company became a “retained business partner” for IBM in 2000. With over two decades of IT-consulting industry experience, the company also became an independent IT consulting firm in 2006. It focuses on software and services for IBM WebSphere, Lotus and Service-oriented Architectures (SOAs).
Sima Solutions’ SimaCLOUD offerings are fully managed transformation services that enable legacy WebSphere Commerce environments to move to cloud environments. The new service fully manages migrations and helps companies transition to private or public clouds (such as IBM Cloud, AWS, and Azure). It supports Docker containers and includes an Open Source Kubernetes-based container architecture. Other features include dev / test cloud environments to enhance application development and ‘Advanced Cloud Management Automation’ alongside ‘Security and Data Encryption’ to protect against cyber threats.
