SpaceAsia Introduces Virtuozzo-based Virtual Private Server Hosting for the Asian Market

July 18, 2007
July 18, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – SpaceAsia (http://spaceasia.com/en/), a leading provider of web hosting services for the Asian market, announced today it has launched a line of Virtuozzo-based Virtual Private Server (VPS) solutions for business customers in China and surrounding Asian countries.

The new plans are hosted on Linux servers, with a choice of CentOS4.2, Fedora Core 5, openSuSE 10.1, or Debian 4.0 operating systems. All plans include daily data backups, 24/7 Network Monitoring, and a 99.5% Uptime Guarantee. Currently, VPS plans are available in three configurations.

“There is a strong demand for hosting and IT services for the Asian market as a whole. So much of the worldwide hosting market is based in the United States, and for Asian businesses, this presents a distinct geographic disadvantage,” said Kai Kromat, SpaceAsia Founder and CEO. “By offering these competitively priced, robust Virtual Private Server plans, we hope to continue our growth in this emerging market. We have been successful over the past two years in serving these customers with our existing array of Web solutions.”

SpaceAsia’s new VPS plans include a variety of standard features, such as MySQL databases, unlimited POP3 email accounts, and full root access and control for customers. Additionally, the company’s customer support department is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Founded in 2005, SpaceAsia is a provider of business-class web hosting services for the Asian market. The company currently provides an array of Linux-based hosting solutions, Web design, and Domain name registry. The company’s fully redundant datacenter is located in Hong Kong, and includes connectivity to HKIX, AGC, UUNET, Global One, and Teleglobe.
