November 8, 2005 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) Sphera Corporation (http://www.sphera.com) has announced the launch of a new platform for BellSouth (BLS) that enables the company to deliver enhanced web hosting and hosted applications capabilities. Sphera, a data center automation and services provider, has worked with BellSouth to successfully migrate more than 100,000 web sites, email, ftp and ecommerce accounts to the new Sphera/BellSouth platform.
The new platform enables BellSouth to control its product portfolio and allows the company to expand customization capabilities. Through Sphera, BellSouth can deliver traditional hosting services and cater for residential and business customers hosted applications such as ecommerce, premium email, CRM and collaboration. BellSouth is now able offer a substantially enhanced product suite for small to medium businesses.
