SQL Database Company Clustrix and Microsoft Azure Partner to Cater for Ecommerce Demand
SQL database company Clustrix and Microsoft Azure have partnered to cater for the ecommerce demands of the market. The company, which has headquarters in San Francisco, USA, provides “the first database built specifically to meet the revenue scaling, performance and availability demands of today’s ecommerce sites”, particularly those utilizing Magento – an Open Source Content Management System (CMS) for ecommerce web sites. Its solutions allow companies to establish applications that can address “massive transactional volume” and real-time business performance metrics reporting required in modern ecommerce.

Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform offers a range of integrated services (compute, storage, data, networking, etc.) that are designed to enable businesses and other organizations to operate more effectively and in a more cost-effective fashion. The Clustrix database offers Magento users greater reliability and scalability

“Our new partnership with Microsoft Azure represents a game-changing proposition that addresses some of the biggest concerns our customers face when leveraging the cloud,” explained Clustrix’s CEO, Mike Azevedo. “Clustrix was built for the cloud, and this unique collaboration helps us to better address the evolving demands of the ecommerce industry. With ClustrixDB and Azure, our customers can quickly scale up or down to match demand and rest assured they’ll have an always-on site”.
