December 22, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – After five years of serving clients on a private basis, new shared and VPS web hosting provider SSA Host (http://www.ssahost.com) is offering services to the general public, it was announced this week.
The Houston, Texas-based company is a subsidiary of parent Sirkels & Squares Alternative and has provided hosting services privately since 2000. Through its realignment the company hopes to target small- to medium-sized businesses, including web developers and designers.
SSA Host offers a range of shared hosting options including an entry-level Beginner Plan which offers 100MB of storage space and 1.5GB of monthly data transfer. Accounts are hosted on Linux servers and feature email related tools, support for development languages like Perl and PHP, preinstalled scripts, and advanced website management and analytics tools.
“Many hosts configure their plans so that customers end up purchasing significantly more resources than they actually need,” explained Sirkels & Squares Alternative’s owner Kristopher Jordy. “We’ve changed that. Our plans are designed and setup with our demographic in mind, and are priced accordingly—eliminating waste while allowing our company to still remain competitive.”
The company also offers VPS hosting plans allow customers to manage nearly most aspects of their web hosting environment. Five VPS plans are available through servers hosted in Dallas, Texas or San Jose, California, based on customer requests.
SSA Host received a Level 1 Support Certification from Geek Certified, an independent organization monitoring customer support in the web hosting industry.
