Steven J. Armond has joined managed cloud infrastructure provider Hostway Services, Inc (Hostway).
Hostway, which has headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, United States, was established in 1998. The company is recognized as a leading global provider of scalable cloud, and hybrid cloud hosting services alongside “customizable” Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) services. The company caters to a 600,000-strong global customer base and its services are underpinned by ongoing customer and technical support. Mr. Armond joins the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Armond is an industry veteran with around 24 years of experience and particular experience of the technology, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors. He joins Hostway from T-System where he was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and primarily responsible for the company’s accounting and financial activity. Before joining T-System he was CFO at American CareSource Holdings, a publicly traded ancillary benefits management company. He has also held positions at Data Return and Terremark. At Hostway his responsibilities will include Hostway’s finance, human resources and legal activity. He is a CPA and has an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
