Storage Experts Cirrus Data Services Launches Services in Salt Lake City
Storage experts and data migration specialists Cirrus Data Solutions Inc. (Cirrus Data Services) have announced the launch of services in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. Cirrus Data Services, which has headquarters in Syosset, New York, United States, was established in 2011. A Gardner company, it develops “enterprise-class zero downtime data migration and caching servers” designed to enable customers to transition legacy IT systems to the cloud and transfer data from one cloud to another. The company also caters to a range of its customers’ data storage transfer needs. Its products “install within minutes for fast, simple, uninterrupted data management with no interruption of services” and include its ‘Data Migration Server’ and ‘Data Caching Server’ offerings. Cirrus Data Services has launched services in Salt Lake City through the first phase of its new ‘View 78’ data center campus (View 78).

Cirrus Data Services’ launch is designed to meet current demands in Salt Lake City and underscores its confidence in the region. View 78 provides hyperscale and wholesale data center colocation. Initially offering 32MW support, development and operations up to a data center capacity of 160MW are in the pipeline. The first phase of the Tier III and Tier II facility will offer more than 224,000 square feet of data center space and 18,000 square feet of office space. Expansion up to 160MW of capacity and more than 1,120,000 square feet is planned as is a “second large scale campus in Salt Lake City”.

“Our new data center campus located in the View 78 development in Midvale is designed for both hyperscale and wholesale tenants including cloud service providers, enterprise companies, and other large-scale tenants,” explained Cirrus Data Services’ President, James Jeffries. “Our product is intended to be scalable and provide an adaptable solution to meet the needs of sophisticated tenants in this sector.”
