Ubersmith and domain registrar Namecheap, Inc. (Namecheap) have expanded their current agreement. With global headquarters in New York, United States, Ubersmith specialize in offering a usage-based software suite that manages “billing, quoting, order management, infrastructure management and help desk ticketing solutions”. The company caters to customers that want to reduce the time it takes to bring new products and services to market. Its newly expanded agreement with Namecheap will see the companies involved in multi-year cooperation.
An ICANN-accredited domain registrar, Namecheap was established in 2000. The company prides itself on “providing unparalleled levels of service, security, and support”. It manages around 9 million domains and alongside domain name services it offers web hosting, SSL certificates, site building tools, and online business apps. Namecheap has been Ubersmith’s customer for “more than 10 years”. The renewed agreement gives Namecheap priority support access and “additional room to expand its usage of the Ubersmith software”.
“It gives us great satisfaction to help enable the growth of Namecheap, a market leader in domain registration and hosting,” explained Ubersmith’s President Kurt Daniel. “This customer serves as a great example of the ability of our software to scale to whatever levels are required,” he added. “Ubersmith software offers us capabilities for efficiently running our business, which ultimately allows us to better serve our customers,” explained the COO of Namecheap, Hillan Klein. “It also provides us with valuable statistical data that we can use to improve our service offering. Additionally, our new agreement with Ubersmith gives us priority-level support.”
