Subscription business management software provider
Ubersmith and payment gateway Authorize.Net have formed a partnership. Ubersmith, which has headquarters in New York, United States, was established in 2002. The company caters to “over one hundred companies” and offers integrated software solutions that address a range of business activity including “usage-based billing, quoting, order management, infrastructure management and help desk ticketing”. Its partnership with Authorize.Net will enable its customers to “integrate payments processing for their existing subscription business”.
Authorize.Net, a Visa subsidiary, was established in 1996 and has headquarters in San Francisco, California, United States. The company’s payment management solutions are used by 440,000 merchants and manages “billions of transactions”. They allow users to accept credit card and electronic check payments “via websites, retail stores, mail order/telephone order (MOTO) call centers and mobile devices”. Every year it manages in excess of 1 billion transactions and around $149 billion in payments. Its partnership with Ubersmith will enable Authorize.net to extend services to range of different types of businesses including “SaaS, cloud, data center, telco/ISP and managed services businesses”.
