Supply Chain Company Manhattan Associates Names IBM Cloud as Preferred Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) Provider
Supply chain company Manhattan Associates has named IBM Cloud as its preferred Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider. The company, which has headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, provides customers such as Genuine Parts Company and Nordstrom with a range of supply chain management software. 60% of its revenue is generated by sales of warehouse management systems and the remaining 40% from supply chain management applications.

IBM has been a partner of Manhattan Associates for a number of years, with the latter offering IBM products to its customers. The two organizations are extending their relationship with Manhattan Associates offering technical support to customers who wish to run their applications on IBM’s SoftLayer cloud infrastructure. Customers are given the option of choosing between bare metal and virtual cloud servers.

“The ability to offer our industry-leading applications via SoftLayer will provide a cost-effective, scalable and dynamic experience for our customers,” explained Manhattan Associates’ Senior Vice President, Jeff Cashman. “IBM is a strategic, long-term partner for us, and we look forward to working with them as we expand our cloud-based offerings.”
