February 15, 2005 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – SurfControl will demonstrate how the company is driving significant change to the Internet filtering market at the RSA Conference 2005. SurfControl will show off its phishing protection for the SurfControl Web, E-Mail and Mobile Filters.
The company will also announce it has teamed with Celestix Networks, Inc. and Microsoft to bring complete Internet protection to businesses on the Celestix MSA integrated security appliance. This solution featuring Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server (ISA) 2004 and SurfControl Web Filter, will be on display at the Microsoft Partner Pavilion.
As an illustration of the rate at which malware and other dangerous content is growing on the Internet, the SurfControl Content Database -- the heart of the company's Internet filtering solutions -- surpassed nine million total URLs -- up from eight million only three months ago. The SurfControl Content Database includes 45 URL categories in 70 languages. More than 33 percent of the content tracked and filtered by SurfControl is international.
