Technology solutions provider PCM Inc. (
PCM) has acquired cloud IT solutions provider and Microsoft cloud-based solutions leader Stratiform, Inc. (Stratiform). PCM, which has headquarters in El Segundo, California, United States, was established in 1987. The company bills itself as “an industry leader in IT solutions and services, specializing in cloud, data center, mobility, networking, security, and software solutions”. Its purchase of Stratiform enhances the company’s strategic cloud solutions capabilities. The deal is reported to have cost CAD 2.1 million ($1.56 million).
Stratiform, which has headquarters in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, specializes in Microsoft cloud solutions such as Azure, Office 365 and EMS. The company aims to enable its customers to “achieve greater efficiencies” and offers the support of a managed services team that augments a business’ existing IT capability with IT infrastructure components, or provides “an end-to-end managed IT solution”. A Gold Certified Microsoft Partner, the company also offers consulting services.
