Internet, hosting and communications services provider
Timico has announced Colin Bell as its new Director of Cloud and Hosting Services. The British company headquartered in Newark, Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom offers a range of services including colocation, managed servers, disaster recovery, Enterprise Private Cloud and Virtual Data Centre services, each offered through the company's highly available MPLS network which operates across the United Kingdom. Mr. Bell joins the company to lead its converged cloud activity.
Mr. Bell will head Timico's new Hosting Solutions Business Unit which oversees the company's managed hosting, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and business continuity solutions. One of his primary responsibilities will be to engage a sales team which will be based in London. He will also be in charge of recruiting new staff for Timico’s data center in the UK's East Midlands and on its south coast.
Mr. Bell brings a wealth of experience to his position. An industry veteran, he initially worked with Rackspace as EMEA Sales Director. He then moved to NetBenefit, an NBT plc subsidiary, where he was Managing Director.
