Transit provider Atrato IP Networks has expanded its presence at colocation facility provider COLO@'s ATL-2 data center facility in Atlanta, Georgia. The facility will house Atrato's latest Point of Presence (POP), extending Atrato's competitive bandwidth footprint into the southeastern United States and allowing COLO@ customers to benefit from a greater choice of provider at the company's 34 Peachtree Street facility.

COLO@ prides itself on offering its customers scalability and allowing them to grow their businesses by utilizing a range of providers. Atrato's new POP offers COLO@ customers more connectivity possibilities and closer contact with new markets. Specifically its adds data center redundancy in Atlanta to the company's backbone, facilitating increased performance and a new point of presence with low-latency routes between the United States and Europe.
