The UK Managed Services & Hosting Summit has been announced as taking place in London at The Pullman St Pancras Hotel on 25 September 2014. Presented by IT Europa and Angel Business Communications, the event will bring together managed services providers, hardware and software vendors, web hosts, telecoms, and mobile operators that provide managed services. The event will also bring together resellers and service providers that are establishing their own managed services options.
A “management-level” event, the fourth UK Managed Services & Hosting Summit will be themed “Beyond the Cloud – the changing face of managed services and conference”. It will be staged against a backdrop of uncertainty regarding the direction of managed services, an area that is enjoying substantial growth. The event aims to enable channel organizations to “identify opportunities arising from the increasing demand for managed and hosted services” and “develop and strengthen partnerships”. Alongside conference sessions, the event will offer “boardroom sessions” led by key vendors and providers.
The event will consider the effects of new business models and IT’s role in modern businesses. The event will also provide conferences that offer input on a range of issues, including considering service delivery trends and changes in customer requirements. The event will also provide input on issues such as Hybrid IT and how managed services can help businesses achieve a competitive edge.
