The fifth
Managed Services and Hosting Summit (MSHS) will take place on September 17, 2015 in Bishopsgate, London. The event, jointly offered by Angel Business Communications and IT Europa, will cater to an audience of managers belonging to telecommunications companies, mobile operators and web hosts who offer managed services. The event aims to enable channel organizations to "identify opportunities arising from the increasing demand for managed and hosted services and to develop and strengthen partnerships aimed at supporting sales".
Based on the success of the 2014 event, MSHS 2015 will be a larger event that considers how new business models and information technology impact today's businesses. Despite the expectation that the managed services segment will continue growing in 2015, the direction of the market is still unclear. With the theme of "Creating Value through Managed Services", this year's event will consider service delivery trends and customer requirements. It will also look at how to improve customer experience and consider issues such as service management, security and data management, and cloud and managed hosting.
"Advances in technology, economic pressures and evolving business models are combining to fundamentally change role of both IT and Telecoms channels, with more and more organizations are adopting cloud-based solutions and Hybrid IT as part of their IT landscape," explained IT Europa's Managing Director, Alan Norman. "The Managed Services & Hosting Summit 2015 provides a unique opportunity for vendors, VARs, integrators and service providers to come together to address the issues and opportunities arising from the surge in customer demand for managed services and hosted delivery models," added Angel Business Communications Director of IT Publishing, Jason Holloway.
