March 11, 2009 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) The UK2 Group, which includes web hosts
UK2.net,
midPhase and
WestHost, is to offer a next generation control panel, it was announced recently. Called Tera.CP, the control panel is currently offered as a public beta to customers of
10TB.com and further testing and roll out will then follow over the course of 2009.
According to UK2 Group, Tera.CP is a significant departure from the traditional, static control panel that hosting customers are used to. Based on EXTJS and with a matching Adobe Air application, users enjoy total control over their servers and up to the second information on hardware and bandwidth usage.
"Tera.CP is another key development for the hosting industry being led by UK2 Group", explained UK2 Groups CEO, Ditlev Bredahl. "With such a large family of brands offering customers the latest hosting products and services, we felt that it was hugely important to provide customers with a sophisticated yet easy to use control panel to manage their requirements."
UK2 Group offers a range of web hosting services alongside domain name registration and related services through a number of brands including UK2.net, midPhase, WestHost, 10TB.com, AN Hosting, Autica, Resell.biz, US2.net, WingSix, Supreme Support, Dotable, VI.net and VPS.NET. The group has multi million pound data centers in the UK and US.
