Unified cloud monitoring services provider
Site24x7 has announced the launch of CloudSpend. Site24x7 is a Zoho Corporation company and has headquarters in Pleasanton, California, United States. Established in 2006, the company specializes in unified cloud monitoring for devops and IT operations. Its services analyze users’ access of websites and applications from desktop, mobile devices, applications, servers, private and public clouds, and other network infrastructure. The company was in the news last year for offering services that leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Microsoft Azure monitoring. CloudSpend is a cost analytics platform for the public cloud.
CloudSpend “enables businesses to visualize runaway expenditure and implement effective budget controls in Amazon Web Services (AWS)”. Its purpose is to maximize capacity planning and cost optimization in an AWS environment. The solution offers AI-driven ‘Business Intelligence’ (BI) insights that help reduce Operational Expenditure (OpEx) for multiple cloud accounts. It also offers businesses a “holistic view of cloud expenditures” and provides insights into where to make adjustments. The service is “free up to $3K of AWS spending per month and available at 0.8% beyond $3K”. Site24x7 has suggested versions of CloudSpend are in the pipeline for Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
"With pay-as-you-go pricing models, public cloud platforms are strategic drivers for digital transformation,” explained Site24x’s Product Manager, Srinivasa Raghavan. “Since digital transformation is largely a process and not the end goal, businesses not only want to embark on their digital transformation journey, but also want to optimize it to reap greater results. CloudSpend's addition to our AI-driven monitoring capabilities not only streamline and enhance performance of their applications on AWS but maintain an equilibrium when it comes to cloud spending, thus creating a win-win situation for DevOps and IT teams."
