Unified communications company Uniserve Communications Corporation
(Uniserve) has appointed Mr. Owen Morley to the company’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) position. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Uniserve is a “unified communications company offering integrated voice and data services over multiple Internet protocol networks”. Founded in 1988, its broad range of services extend beyond telecommunications and include cloud options, managed services, managed security, colocation, and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) packages. Mr. Morley brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
Noted for “a strong work ethic, leadership abilities and diligence,” Mr. Morley’s career has included a period at PEER1 Network where he was a Network Analyst in charge of the company’s data centers in Vancouver and Seattle, Canada. He then joined online dating site Plentyoffish.com as Director of Infrastructure and led a team that included database administrators, network engineers and site reliability engineers. He holds a ‘Network Administrating and Design Associate Certificate’ from British Columbia Institute of Technology.
