CenturyLink, Inc. (CenturyLink) has announced it is now authorized to operate under GSA Alliant 2 Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). CenturyLink has headquarters in Monroe, Louisiana, United States and alongside telecom offerings provides services that such as hosting, cloud and IT services, ‘Big Data’ analytics, and IT consulting. The company also offers SAP HANA services through its data centers in Singapore and India. The Alliant 2 GWAC is a “multiple-award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) program” that enables federal agencies in the US “to buy information technology services and IT services-based solutions”.
Alliant 2 has a five-year performance and ordering period to June 30, 2023 with an optional five-year period available until June 30, 2028. Alliant 2 allows US agencies to acquire customizable hardware, software and IT solutions delivered as a package. Now CenturyLink is authorized federal agencies can benefit from its “cloud computing, virtual networking, big data analytics, smart sensors, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity services and digital forensic solutions”.
