VariLogiX Announces Release of FraudCall Version 3.5

February 6, 2007
February 6, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – VariLogiX (http://www.varilogix.com) has announced the release of FraudCall Version 3.5. The product, which is available as an integrated module in various web host billing applications, “allows online merchants to verify incoming orders by placing an automated outbound telephone call”.

The new version of FraudCall includes new tools that allow users to differentiate between landlines, cellular lines, voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) lines, and international lines. The solution also offers “more robust call statistics” alongside an enhanced user interface.

“Empowering our users with more detailed and segmented information on incoming orders is a top priority,” suggested James Ryan, President of VariLogiX. “With this new release, our system now has an increased ability to detect and report key indicators of fraudulent activity. We have also improved the way our users interact with FraudCall.”

VariLogiX has also integrated Anti Fraud Information Service (AFIS) technology into FraudCall, providing online merchants an analysis of every incoming order. Incoming orders are analyzed and allocated a fraud score based on the criteria set that allows users to automatically accept, decline, or further investigate an order.

“We occasionally speak with companies that indicate fraudulent orders have not presented a problem for their operations in the past,” added Mr. Ryan. “However, this type of thinking tends to leave companies with surprise chargeback fees after a few fraudulent orders slip through. We have designed FraudCall to be instantly and seamlessly integrated with a variety of order processing applications.”
