Veeam Software has selected Infrastructure-as-a-Service solutions provider Phoenix NAP
as its Veeam Availability Suite v8 launch partner. The solution will become available in the next couple of months.
As a result of the agreement, Phoenix NAP will offer Phoenix NAP Cloud Backup for Veeam through its Phoenix, Arizona, Ashburn, Virginia, and Amsterdam, Netherlands facilities before it is released to the market. In addition, global IT services providers will be able to offer customers fully integrated Veeam Cloud Connect-based offsite backups which will be managed by Phoenix NAP.
“Veeam’s goal is to make the Always-On Business a reality for IT, and Veeam Cloud Providers like Phoenix NAP play a critical role in making that happen,” explained Veeam Software’s Vice President of Product Strategy, Doug Hazelman. “Phoenix NAP has built deep relationships with its customers as a trusted advisor, and with Veeam Cloud Connect, we’re providing a technology platform that will enable it to provide our joint customers with the highest quality off-site backup services.”
