VPS and dedicated hosting provider
Future Hosting has launched new SSD VPS hosting plans. The plans will be based in Miami, Florida and offer “excellent network connections to the Southeastern United States and the growing economies of South America”.
The company’s new plans offer managed services using Solid State Drives (SSD) storage rather than the more traditional disk-type storage. With no moving parts, SSD offers massive increases in file retrieval and database access speeds. Whereas many hosts use SSD to cache information, Future Hosting’s “pure” approach means SSD drives are used for all data storage.
Established in 2001, Future Hosting is based in Southfield, Michigan. Its services include managed hosting, including dedicated servers, Virtual Private Servers (VPS), and Hybrid Virtual Private Server (HVPS) options. Future Hosting’s choice of Miami for a new center underscores the importance of the city’s infrastructure and its connections to South American networks. South America has become a key region for economic growth and in 2014 Brazil is expected to become the world’s 10th largest ecommerce market.
“We’ve recently brought our Pure SSD managed hosting plans to London, UK and Brisbane, Australia, facilitating access to European, Australian, and South East Asian markets,” explained Future Hosting’s Vice President of Sales, Maulesh Patel. “Given the area’s growth rates in fixed and mobile broadband access, South America was the next logical choice, and Miami is the perfect location for hosting plans targeting Latin America and adjacent regions.”
