2ip has added servers for shared hosting services localized in the United Kingdom and Canada, it was reported recently. 2ip servers will be housed in the RapidSwitch datacenter in Berkshire, UK and iWeb data center in Montreal, Canada.
“We’ve recognized a noticeable increase in signups from customers in Canada and the Untied Kingdom, and there is growing demand for us to replicate our successful United States-based hosting model for other parts of the world,” explained Managing Director of 2ip’s parent company (Ichthys Media LLC), Mr. Jimmy Tanzil. “Offering localized hosting solutions in other countries allows us to expand to scale and scope of our services, and we foresee this strategy as contributing to our growth in the next two to three years.”
Established in 1999, 2ip caters for more than 310,000 websites.
