LayerHost) has opened a new data center. Layerhost, which was established in 2008, has global headquarters in Los Angeles, California, United States. The company offers a range of services including colocation and shared hosting packages alongside bare metal servers and IP transit options. It prides itself on “affordable server hosting” which is “unbeatable in both quality and price”. LayerHost’s latest data center has opened in Houston, Texas, United States.
LayerHost’s new 350,000-square-foot center provides a High Performance Computing (HPC) environment which offers world-class power connections and tight physical security. The facility is also hurricane resistant. As a result, LayerHost is able to offer a genuine 100% power uptime service level guarantee to its customers. Houston provides a gateway to Central America and, therefore, offers the company an ideal location from which to offer its data center services.
“Our expansion to the Houston data center is a small step for the company, but a giant leap for our growth and expansion into other regions,” explained LayerHost’s CEO, Mohamad Kazah. “Because with each new physical location comes a new geographical advantage, the delivery of our complete service packages of data center solutions will give us the opportunity to serve new clients worldwide.
