Web host and domain name provider Go Daddy has hired two new executives. Mr. David Popowitz is now the company's first Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, while Mr. Raj Mukherjee is Vice President and General Manager of Go Daddy's Site Builder Product line. Mr. Popowitz will be responsible for acquiring and partnering with companies that offer products and services that will benefit Go Daddy customers, while Mr. Mukherjee will oversee Go Daddy's Website Builder and related products. Both will be located in the company's Mountain View office in California.

Go Daddy's success has been built organically on customer satisfaction. Given its current size and position in the industry, further growth will be dependent on partnerships and acquisitions. The company has made a number of successful acquisitions which have provided the company with $100 million in revenue. One of its key purchases was Outright.com in July of this year. Outright.com is a cloud-based Silicon Valley financial management application company that provides bookkeeping and financial update services to businesses. Mr. Popowitz will be responsible for extending and maintaining Go Daddy's momentum as far as acquisitions are concerned.

Go Daddy's success has also been built on its ability to give small businesses the tools they need to be successful online. As someone who was formerly in charge of Google's SMB application business, Mr. Mukherjee is perfectly placed to manage the development of more products that meet the needs of Go Daddy's global customer base.

Mr. Popowitz has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University. He worked for investment bankers Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse before joining Go Daddy. He has considerable experience advising technology companies on strategy and financial matters. He was also SVP of Finance at SaaS company RingCentral which provided hosted PBX for small businesses. He has also acted as an angel investor and provided advice to start-up organizations.

Mr. Mukherjee graduated from Jadavpur University in India where he studied Computer Science and Engineering. He is currently involved in a dual MBA program from Columbia Business School Columbia University, New York and Haas School of Business at California, Berkeley. He has previously worked for Google - where he was involved in developing Google Apps - and Microsoft - where he helped introduce Office 365.
