Web Host and Domain Name Provider GoDaddy Announces the Completion of the Second Year of Indian Operations
Web host and domain name provider GoDaddy has announced the completion of its second year of operations in India. The company, which bills itself as "the world’s largest technology provider dedicated to small businesses", has been involved in an ongoing process of localizing services, hence its physical presence in India. After only 2 years, India has become GoDaddy’s largest international office. Alongside India, the company has a presence in the United States, Latin America, the United Kingdom, Canada, the Netherlands, and Singapore.

With a suite of small business orientated products, GoDaddy recently launched Microsoft Office 365 and its "Starter Web-hosting Plan" in India. Microsoft Office 365 is available for Rs. 149 ($2.50) per month while its Starter Plan provides 30GB of storage and is available for Rs. 125 ($2.00) per month. Both products are underpinned by a local GoDaddy support team.

“With millions of small businesses forming the backbone of India’s economy, it is a very exciting market for us," explained GoDaddy India's Vice President and Managing Director, Rajiv Sodhi. "We believe small businesses will continue to drive Internet penetration in India, and we will continue to make the Web relevant for them. We are focused on educating Indian small businesses on the benefits of getting online and providing them with best-in-breed, affordable solutions to take their business to the next level and offering superior customer care to help guide them through the process.”
