Web host and domain name provider
GoDaddy has launched a dedicated team to support its localized services in Australia. The company, which was founded by Bob Parsons in 1997, has global headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States. It has a clear focus on supporting small businesses and offers a wide range of services including shared, dedicated and Virtual Private Server (VPS) hosting alongside services such as dedicated IP, SSL and premium DNS services.
GoDaddy, which went public on April 1, 2015, caters to 12 million customers globally and is famous for its raunchy Super Bowl advertising and sponsoring NASCAR events. The company has been offering localized services in Australia since 2012, but the addition of a dedicated team will enable the company to respond more effectively to the country's small businesses.
GoDaddy traditionally received custom from Australian businesses before it officially provided localized services with payments in Australian dollars, and the company is currently enjoying significant growth in the country. However, its "Australian" call center will initially be located in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
