Web Host and Domain Registrar GoDaddy Announces Launch of Business Hosting Options
Web host and domain registrar GoDaddy Inc. (GoDaddy) has announced the launch of new ‘Business Hosting’ options designed for “fast-growing small businesses”. GoDaddy, which has headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States, was established in 1997. The company specializes in offering SMEs and other organizations the tools they need to establish a viable web presence without the need of a developer. The company’s services extend to WordPress solutions, Virtual Private Servers (VPS), dedicated servers and cloud options. Its latest offerings combine “easy-to-use cPanel with dedicated resources, power and performance of virtual private servers”.

GoDaddy’s new Business Hosting options underscore the company’s policy to offer advanced solutions to smaller businesses that might not employ staff with high levels of technical expertise. The new options provide a “powerful, yet easy-to-manage hosting platform designed for high-traffic, e-commerce, and resource-intensive websites”. They feature cPanel, recognized as one of the industry’s leading hosting control panels, which can control every aspect of a hosting account, from setting up websites and establishing email addresses, to more complex functions like managing DNS. Existing GoDaddy customers can move from shared hosting to GoDaddy Business Hosting “with a single click” as file migration is fully automated. Unlike shared hosting, Business Hosting is optimized for “resource-intensive websites” with dedicated RAM and storage and allocated CPUs. Plans start at $19.99 per month.

"GoDaddy Business Hosting eliminates the limitations of shared hosting by keeping websites in an isolated environment where customers get dedicated resources," explained GoDaddy’s Senior Vice President of Hosting, Raghu Murthi. "Growing businesses now have the option of more power and performance for their websites, without needing to worry about the technical complexities found in a VPS. With this, small businesses can continue to focus on what they do best."
