March 17, 2005 -(HOSTSEARCH.COM)-Web host Crossmap.net announced Tuesday that it will give away free webhosting accounts to the first 10,000 customers who sign up. The offer is backed by Crossmap.com, the web's largest Christian web portal. Crossmap hopes that the promotion will prompt those considering building websites to do so, helping to get thousands of Christians online. Each free account comes with one year of hosting.
The accounts are fully featured and provide enough resources to host most church sites or personal blogs. Each account comes with Cpanel, 70mb of storage, 1gb transfer, MySQL databases, web and pop3 email accounts, FTP accounts, and free technical support. Similar packages on other Christian hosting sites typically cost $10-20 per month.
Each account also comes with several free extras. Accounts come with access to our church website template section, free support via forums, help tickets and email, and free script installation if necessary. The entire free hosting package with support is valued at over $100.
The promotion is scheduled to run through the end of April, but may be cancelled sooner if the 10,000 account quota is filled. An active count of remaining accounts is kept on the Crossmap.net homepage.
