Web host EUserv has launched a new version of its dedicated ‘Instant64’ servers. EUserv, which has headquarters in Jena, Germany, was established in 1998. The company is a business unit of ‘ISPpro Internet’ - a German Internet Service Provider (ISP). Alongside dedicated servers the company offers a broad range of web hosting solutions. It also offers domain registration services and currently serves over 65,000 customers. This is the 5th generation of EUserv's dedicated rental server-series.
‘Instant64 v5’ servers offer a number of features including “a wide range operating systems for automatic installation, 100GB FTP backup storage, Gbit network connectivity and up to 50 optionally available IPv4 or IPv6 addresses”. The new version of EUserv's platform leverages Intel ‘Coffee-Lake’. Servers now provide “more main memory and more hard disk or SSD storage than before” with each equipped with an Intel ‘6-core’ i7-8700 processor that allows up to 12 parallel threads. Users have full administration rights and kernel level access. They are also free to configure servers and install any application based on their specific requirements. 2 10TB hard disks or SSD's are available to provide extensive storage capacity.
“The models ‘Instant64 M v5’ and ‘Instant64 L v5’ are equipped with 2 x 6TB or 2 x 10TB hard disks and allow storing large amounts of data in Raid1 array. The ‘Instant64 SSD v5’ model offers considerable speed advantages with 2 x 1TB SSDs for applications requiring high I/O load,” explained the company’s press release. Other features include 100GB FTP backup storage. “For private and professional users with high demands on speed and memory all the three models of ‘Instant64 v5’ server-series offer an attractive price/performance ratio,” the press release added.
