The company evaluated a number of options before choosing SWSoft, who is regarded as a leader in virtualization and automation software.
According to the company, its alliance with SWSoft is being deployed at about “25 percent of VMWare's deployment cost” and savings are being passed on to customers. An announcement made by the company states, “Built from the ground up, Fat Jack's Virtualization 2007 minimizes outage issues, under loads its web servers by 30 percent and employs its own team of virtualization specialists. Fat Jack Hosting's virtualized solution is the latest, most stable virtualization technology, and it positions the company years ahead of its competition”.
Fat Jack Hosting offers a range of shared and private hosting options, domain name registration, and dedicated server and colocation options. The company’s Linux servers run Apache 1.23 and Zend. All Fat Jack Hosting servers are now inside their own location in Atlanta for security and management purposes.
