Web Host Go Daddy and Microsoft Partner on Windows Server 2008

Web host Go Daddy and Microsoft have partnered on Windows Server 2008, it was revealed yesterday. Go Daddy will offer Microsoft’s new Windows Server 2008 with Internet Information Services 7.0 (IIS7) software. The solution will become the backbone of the company’s Windows web hosting product line.

Officially launched at Microsoft’s “Heroes Happen Here” event in Los Angeles, USA, Windows Server 2008 “improves website performance by making more efficient use of server resources.” It also offers a range of tools that help users build websites and utilize enhanced security features.

“As one of the top web host providers in the world, Go Daddy prides itself on offering cutting edge products that make it easy for our customers to have a presence on the Web,” explained the company’s CEO and Founder, Mr. Bob Parsons. “We are pleased to put our customers on the new Microsoft platform.
