GoDaddy, business training provider WP Elevation and web design training company OSTraining have formed a partnership. With headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States, GoDaddy’s services provide SMEs with the tools they require to establish a viable web presence. With headquarters in Prahran, Victoria, Australia, WP Elevation is the “first and largest business accelerator program for WordPress consultants”. OSTraining focuses on providing training for Drupal, WordPress and Joomla software and currently has more than 20,000 students. The companies will cooperate to establish “free WordPress education resources”.
An Open Source (OS) solution, WordPress is the Internet’s most popular Content Management System (CMS) and underpins more than 25% of all websites. It is available free of charge as a free download and benefits from the support of an extensive global community that develops commercial and non-commercial themes and addons to enhance the look, feel and functionality of WordPress websites. The partnership will give website developers that utilize WordPress “free, high-quality educational content” that can be used by beginners, right up to WordPress experts.
“One of the biggest challenges for web pros servicing multiple clients is the time and money spent on administrative tasks,” explained GoDaddy’s Senior Vice President (SVP) of Hosting, Raghu Murthi. “These educational resources help web pros work smarter and provide outstanding service and support to their clients.”
