HostDime has opened a new customer support facility in Orlando, Florida, USA, it was announced recently. The company, a provider of “secure managed hosting services that cater to a range of clients” is moving into “1,500 square feet of Class A office space” on the campus of the University of Central Florida (UCF). The move comes as a response to the company’s growing customer support activity and increased support staff.
The company’s new office will cater for 50 staff, 20 of which will be “new hires”.
According to the company the additional employees will help it “reach a goal of offering an average response time of no more than 15 minutes on all customer support requests”. Its relationship UCF means it is able to hire the college’s students and graduates as interns and full time employees.
“Our company is taking a mission-critical approach to customer support, even for customers with small hosting plans,” explained CEO of HostDime, Emmanuel Vivar. “The addition of a dedicated customer support facility will enable to us offer a higher level of service to all customers. We are also proud to create high-quality jobs in Central Florida at a time when so many companies are handing out pink slips.”
HostDime is privately owned and offers a range of web hosting services from entry-level to enterprise-level operations. The company owns and operates its own data center in Orlando, Florida, USA. It has a client base of more than 700,000 hosted domains on 3,000 servers.
