Inspedium and SSL provider 'Let’s Encrypt' have formed a partnership. Inspedium, which has headquarters in Karachi, Pakistan, was established in 2003. To best serve the needs of its customers, the company has three divisions - the Inspedium Hosting Division, the Inspedium Software Division and the Inspedium Media Division. Inspedium Hosting has partnered with Let’s Encrypt to allow its customers to benefit from SSL protection. Its existing accounts will have SSL installed "as early as November 01, 2017".
With headquarters in San Francisco, California, United States, the ‘Let's Encrypt’ initiative is offered by the nonprofit Internet Security Research Group (ISRG). It is a “free, automated, and open certificate authority” that enables users to benefit from Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates that leverage HTTPS protocols - meaning websites show as https://yourdomain.com/ rather than http://yourdomain.com/. This offers a robust layer of protection, encrypting connections between web servers and browsers, and making them secure. This helps avoid some of the cyber risks that currently threat internet connections. All SSL certificates are tied to specific sites, and as such they play a vital part in SEO, with Google penalizing sites that don't utilize them.
