Kinsta, a managed hosting provider leveraging Google Cloud Platform for WordPress, is excited to unveil a new “pay as you go” model for web hosting, designed to help customers save money by only paying for the resources they use.
Traditionally, hosting providers lock customers into rigid plans that include more websites or traffic than they actually need. As a result, website owners are often forced to upgrade to more expensive plans, buying unnecessary features and paying for services they don’t use.
With Kinsta’s new model, customers can select exactly what they need—whether it's websites, storage, PHP performance, or dedicated servers—ensuring they only pay for the resources they actually require.
The process begins with the customer choosing between a Single Site Plan or a Multiple Site Plan. From there, they can enhance their plan with flexible add-ons, including:
Single Website Add-on: Add more individual websites as needed.
PHP Performance Add-on: Boost site performance with faster processing for a better user experience.
Dedicated Server Add-on: Meet high-resource demands with dedicated servers for high-traffic sites.
Disk Space Add-on: Increase storage as required.
Whether a customer needs one low-resource site and another high-resource site, or 100 sites with only a few requiring dedicated servers, Kinsta’s pay-as-you-go system provides a tailored solution with zero waste.
“Website hosting should never charge you for resources you don’t need,” said Jon Penland, Chief Operating Officer at Kinsta. “That’s why we’re offering simplicity and flexibility, empowering customers to choose plans and pay for only the resources that make sense for their business.”
This shift reflects Kinsta’s ongoing commitment to delivering top-tier products and services, backed by 24/7 customer support 365 days a year.
“Selecting the right hosting plan should be a simple, transparent decision,” added Tom Zsbomborgi, Chief Business Officer at Kinsta. “Now, customers can select exactly what they need, without being forced into plans that don’t fit their needs.”
