Web Host ProlimeHost Announces New KVM SSD VPS Services
Web host ProlimeHost has announced the launch of new KVM hardware-based Solid-state Disk (SSD) Virtual Private Server (VPS) services. ProlimeHost, which was established in 2005, offers a range of hosting services. The company’s services extend to dedicated servers, managed hosting, email marketing servers, shared enterprise class hosting and server collocation through US-based data center facilities in Dallas, Texas, Phoenix, Arizona, Los Angeles, California, and facilities in Singapore. The launch of new VPS options is designed to meet existing customer demand and enable the company to meet its customers’ specific requirements “no matter what type of unique hosting requirements” they might have.

ProlimeHost’s VPS servers feature KVM hardware-based virtualization to offer “superior performance and higher scalability”. The package, which costs between $19 and $59 per month, is underpinned by ongoing technical support with “outstanding response and resolution times." ProlimeHost has also announced a promotion for the new solution, offering double bandwidth and RAM free of charge on all new KVM SSD VPS accounts for a limited period.

"All of our Virtual Private Servers are built with Dual Intel Xeon processors, and SSD drives are configurated in RAID10 for optimal performance," explained a company spokesperson in a press release, adding that customers can configure and install their own operating systems and other applications because the VPS options are enabled for root access.
