Web Host Rackspace Launches Corporate Blog

March 21, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web host Rackspace has launched a corporate blog (www.rackspace.com/blog/), it was announced recently. The blog will serve as an additional way for the company to interact with its customers and people interested in learning more about its services. In addition, the blog will provide another platform to spread word of the “Fanatical Support” the company provides its customers.

The company has set itself a “Customers for Life” goal spearheaded by its “Fanatical Support” policy. The company offers a unique Service Level Agreement designed to help build “a long and mutually beneficial relationship” with its customers. Part of the agreement is the company’s “Fanatical Support Promise”, which was announced on its blog recently.

Essentially, Rackspace’s promise is this – if a customer believes that Rackspace has failed to meet the promise of Fanatical Support, a thorough investigation will be set up and an action plan will be presented to resolve the immediate issue and to prevent similar issues from happening. If the customer believes Rackspace has failed to meet the commitments of the action plan or are unhappy with the results, they may end the contract by providing 30 days written notice. “This is something the company was already doing, but now we're making it official," suggested Frederick Mendeler, Vice President of Fanatical Support, on the company’s blog.
